Payment
A deposit of one third of the rent is required on booking and the balance 56 days (8 weeks) before the start of the holiday.
Non payment of the balance of the rent on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract.
If a holiday is cancelled we will endeavour to re-let the property and any monies paid will be refunded less a handling charge.
However if we are unable to re-let, all payments will be retained.
Refunds
Refunds are given if cancellations are due to Covid restrictions.
Reception
The change-over day is Friday for the Bungalow, Saturday for Sarah's cottage. The house will be available after 4:30pm and our representative will be there to meet you unless other arrangements have been made.
The property should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure and left clean and tidy.
Bed-linen
Bed-linen is provided and the beds made up ready
for your arrival. Personal towels are provided but beach towels and tea towels are not.
Kitchen
The kitchen
is well equipped including:
12 place settings.
Ample pots, pans, casseroles, bowls, crockery, food mixer and baking trays .
Barbecue , kettle, toaster,cafetiere, teapot, liquidizer, pepper grinder.
Fuel
Oil for the central heating, electricity and gas are included.
Pets
Pet owners must request permission to bring pets (cats are not allowed) and the breed/type of dog/pet must be declared on the booking form.
Dogs/pets must not under any circumstances be allowed on any soft furnishings, on beds or upstairs.
Dogs/pets must not, at any time, be left alone in the property.
Owners must never allow dogs/pets to defecate in the grounds where children may play.
Owners are responsible for any extra cleaning that may be required, either in the property or in the grounds.
Please check the garden before leaving and remove any dog excrement.
Caring for your Safety
Every reasonable effort has been made to indicate possible safety hazards in the property description.
However, it is guests' responsibility (particularly parents with young children) to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible hazards.
Authority to Sign
The person signing the booking form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree the booking conditions on behalf of all persons included on the booking form.
The signatory must be a member of the party occupying the property and must be 18 years of age or over. Bookings cannot be accepted from parties of young people under 18 years of age.
Cleaning and breakages
Any breakages, losses or damage to the property should be reported to our representative before departure and charges may be made.
The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the tenancy,
particular attention must be given to the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are left clean and tidy.
The Hirer may be charged for any exceptional cleaning costs incurred.
Maximum number of guests
The maximum number of persons stated on the booking form must not be exceeded.
(Owners reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition).
Mobile Phones
Mobile phone reception is poor but Wifi is reliable.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the house.
Complaints
Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday.
If however, you have any cause for complaint contact numbers will be available and any problems should be speedily resolved.
